In 2008 the Sichuan province in China suffered a deathly earthquake measuring 8.0. During the earthquake many people and animals lost their lives, and many other were injured.
Lanlan and Guaiguai are two earthquake survivor dogs that met at the Home of Rescued Animals in Chengdu, China, after the natural disaster. Both dogs suffered damages to their back legs and are now able to walk only with the help of doggie wheelchairs.
The dogs got recently married. The ceremony was a romantic, royal-like celebration, and the public was invited to witness the pets’ sacred union.
Lanlan and Guaiguai even received a marriage certificate!
