Finding Faith: New Home Needed for Abused Dog

A Hillsborough county, FL dog is looking for a new home after escaping an abusive family and undergoing surgery to remove a leg paralyzed from repeated beatings.

Only four days after her operation, Faith can be seen hamming it up for the camera, seemingly unaware of the loss she has suffered at the hands of her abuser. According to workers at Hillsborough County Animal Services, she would make a great family pet because she doesn’t even know she’s not supposed to have only three legs. Given to frolic and obviously happy, Faith is ready to put her past behind her and start the healing process.

So the call is out, give Faith a new life. Don’t have room in your pack? Share her story. Faith’s forever home is out there somewhere, waiting: let’s help her to find it.

  1. Dang……what a good happy ending. I just wonder if the abusers are getting into any trouble. Just another reason why we need an abusive list.

  2. This is a wonderful way to get her story out there and her forever home found. I will send this far and wide in hopes of getting her into a forever home. Thanks Life With Dogs!!!!

  3. Why do people do the things they do their animals? I can’t wrap my mind around it. I’ve never been able to. So happy there’s a happy ending for Faith.

  4. what a sad sad story, this is why i love animals more than people
god bless faith, i hope she finds a loving home she so deserves <3 shame on the woman who watched and did nothing to help her own dog, while the husband abused this poor baby
