Giveaway: Biker-T-Dogs Bike Excercise Arm

Life With Dogs is reader-supported. We may earn a small commission through products purchased using links on this page.

Today’s giveaway features a product that will allow you and your dog to get out and have more fun together, and with summer just around the corner, we expect more than a few of you will want a shot at winning.

We’re giving away a “Biker T-Dogs” exercise arm from Harness Helper, a company whose mission is to make life more accessible and rewarding with your dogs. “There are dog people….and then there are Biker T-Dog people!”

Biking is great exercise not only for us humans, but for our dogs too! It’s a continual paced run, working their bodies and brains, into a “zone”, where their energy is expelled. Dogs need this on a regular basis to remain in a relaxed, mental state. When long walks are neglected, our dogs can become bored, destructive and unruly. Biking your dog adds more exertion to the dog’s walk, releasing the energy that may be spent on excessive barking, chewing, destroying furniture and possibly lessening separation anxiety.

Enjoy a safe, hands-free way of taking your dogs on your next biking trek. Most dogs will love the freedom and releasing the energy that can build up from lack of exercise. A tired dog is a Good Dog! Visit http://www.harnesshelper.net/ to get biking with your pet! Product also available for most trikes and round frame recumbents.

Please note that this product is available in chrome or black. The winner will need to select a color. Retail value is $89.00, but those who wish to purchase will enjoy a 10% discount for mentioning Life With Dogs, and an additional 10% will be donated to the shelter of the purchaser’s choosing. We love that!

  1. Before people enter they should know that Springers are cool devices, but they do NOT fit bikes with extra thick frames. We bought one, and it only fits my husband’s “regular’ style bike. It does not fit my mountain bike, which has a shock absorber in the seat support tube that causes the seat tube to be thicker than normal. I got a “Walkydog” bike device for my bike and it fits that extra-thick tube quite well. Good luck, everybody!

  2. I like it too. I leash trained my two dogs to run beside my bike, but when I tried with my roommate’s much bigger dog, and he saw a squirrel that I did not, it was game over for me and the bike. Never wanted to try that again.

  3. Question, the photo is too small to clearly show where this attaches too, but it kinda looks like it attaches to the handlebar. When my roomie’s dog pulled after that squirrel, he yanked my handlebar and forced it to right angle which sent me out of control immediately. I’m wondering if a device attached it to the bike itself, ie seat post, is safer.

  4. Not everyone is physically capable of running. I use a Springer bike attachment with one of my greyhounds to get her in shape for lure coursing. It works great!
