Grandpa’s Rescue from the Shelter Saved His Life

Grandpa is an extremely cute and playful older chihuahua who was on the red list for euthanasia at a Los Angeles area shelter. The Lange Foundation rescued him before it was too late and cared for him for a year while he waited for his forever home.

The Lange Foundation rescues animals from local city and county shelters, givingĀ  priority to animals in danger of being killed at the shelter. The Foundation pays for their rescues’ medical needs for their entire lives afterward.

  1. Hasn’t he been already adopted? I saw the video in youtube.. a very nice man adopted him, renamed him to George because the man thought this cute dog was too young to be called Grandpa.
