JaJuane Etheridge was before an Oregon City, Oregon Court judge got a very interesting parting shot when standing trial for stealing an English bulldog puppy from a couple of breeders at gun point.  Judge Susie Norby made it very clear to Etheridge that she did not believe his story.

Etheridge claims the whole thing was a setup.  While standing trial for waving a gun in the faces of a couple of dog breeders in an attempt to rob them of an English bulldog puppy, he claimed that it was not his fault that the robbery was committed, and he was more of an innocent bystander.

The general consensus amongst just about everyone other than JaJuane Etheridge and his legal team was something about his story just didn’t add up, and most felt he was lying.

So, when it came time to tell him on Monday that his story was just not going to fly, the judge had a bit of an interesting way to do so.

Judge Norby summarized in court Monday morning: “You lied and lied; I can’t put that aside.  It was your car; you went too far.  You hid the pup; the jig was up.  You got rid of the gun; your game is done.”

It became official, and Etheridge stands convicted of robbery at gunpoint, and theft of the puppy, valued at $2,000.  It is understood that James and Patricia Steele had agreed to meet Etheridge to discuss the sale of a puppy in October 2012.  When he arrived, he pulled a gun and demanded a puppy be given to him, grabbed one, and made off with it.  Etheridge then gave the puppy to his girlfriend as a birthday gift to give to her daughter.  The puppy was returned safely to the rightful owners.

Etheridge now awaits sentencing, which is scheduled for the 1st of August.
