PUPDATE: It was announced on January 6, on her Facebook page, Lucy lost her battle, but her legacy lives on.
Cancer has a way of destroying everything in its wake, from the individual to families and much that surrounds.  While, sadly, there are those that choose to simply allow it to take over their lives, many others decide to stand up and fight.  One of those fighters is a courageous Basset hound named Lucy and she is taking her fight to the world…and the world is standing with her.
Lucy has been receiving notes from family and friends wanting to support her courageous struggle.

 Lucy continues to respond well to the recent chemotherapy (but not cancer-free), so we have decided to continue on with this treatment while she continues to love life!
And Jason shares that Lucy and her forever family refuse to give up. Now in her 2nd treatment, the photos she has been receiving speak to the world-wide network of supporters she has inspired.
