A neighbor came to the rescue of a Great Pyrenees named Bonnie Friday morning when she fell into an icy pond.
Bonnie protects the sheep on her family’s farm in Fruita, Colorado by scaring off coyotes. On Friday morning she wandered into her neighbor’s yard and fell into their pond. The pond was icy and cold and Bonnie was in danger of drowning.
The neighbor noticed Bonnie in his pond and realized she needed help as she struggled to stay afloat. He called the fire department for help, but he became nervous they might not get there in time to save her. So using a row boat the neighbor helped Bonnie to safety and helped warm her up.
