Police Make Arrest in Case of Hogtied Pit Bull

Police have made an arrest in the case of a Bakersfield, CA dog found hogtied and left for dead last week. James Worley, 52, is expected to face felony charges for abandoning the dog. According to officials, a tip from the public led to the arrest. The dog is currently under quarantine for ten days and is expected to be released to a local rescue group.

  2. Thanks to animal control and the police for rescuing this dog. As far as the jerk that did this extremely cruel act, I hope that justice is done and he gets the maximum plus more…

  3. What is wrong with people? Have they forgotten how to be compassionate and kind to all that inhabit our Earth? The stories I read here and on my Rescue groups just get more horrific daily and my heart breaks for the innocents they hurt. And not to mention the anger I have at people like this…

  4. oh my goodness~! 🙁 *hides little face w/ paws* how sad–mum really gets ticked off when she see's/hears/reads things like this. why are people so mean to aminals~!?!? 🙁

  5. I am so happy the poor dog is ok. Also glad the guy got caught.
