Tornadoes that swept through the southern US have left animal shelters overflowing with family pets.

Pets are stressed from the storm and the upheaval that followed – as  are worried owners who spend their days picking up the pieces and looking for their lost animals.

  1. I live in Birmingham and want to thank Life With Dogs for doing such a good job publicizing the struggles being faced down here. That being said, in addition to the need for shelter pets to be adopted there is an even greater need for donations (monetary and supplies) as currently, there are many displaced family pets that are not up for adoption but are being housed in the hopes their owners survived the storm and are looking to retrieve them. Thank you in advance to everyone who shares this story to increase awareness in helping the furry family members who can’t ask for help or say they are scared and hurting. <3
