Actor Zac Efron, known for his boyish good looks and charming smile, wasn’t his usual effervescent self in his most recent post on Instagram. He didn’t disclose much detail about what happened, but shared the sad news that his Australian shepherd, Puppy, had died.
“Through thick and thin you’ve always been my best friend. I’ll see you at the finish line, RIP Puppy Efron,” he said.
Efron has two other dogs, Chappelle and Dreamer, and can be seen getting smoochy with pretty much every dog he meets.
In an interview with BuzzFeed, explained how he once had to go save his dog in a most embarrassing situation.
“I rescued a dog and he was a puppy, and he got away, but he knew not to go a certain way, and I, like, just ran out into the yard to go save him so he wouldn’t go into the street, just in my underwear – I had just woken up. And, like, snagged him and was like, ‘No, don’t run away!’ And I looked up and my neighbor and his whole family were like, ‘Morning.’ And I’m like, ‘Heyyy. Uhh, this is awkward… you have lots of kids.’”
