A man who has admitted to being involved with the dragging death of a dog last week has turned himself in to authorities.

Many of the 50 dogs saved from a cruel Bronx dog fighting ring in June will be available to be adopted by the public, the ASPCA announced yesterday.

A house fire in Minnesota over the weekend claimed the life of a family dog, but not without a hard fought effort to save the dog by firefighters.
